Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju

He knows where he's going when a man is discharged from prison. After falling in love with a traditional comic storyteller's rendition of the narrative known as"Shinigami," he is determined to become his apprentice. The celebrity, Yakumo, never accepted an apprentice before, but to everybody's surprise,'' he accepts the eager ex-prisoner, nicknaming him"Yotaro." Since Yotaro happily begins his new existence, he meets others in the lifetime of Yakumo, for example the ward Konatsu of Yakumo. Konatsu was a famed storyteller's daughter, and she was taken by Yakumo after the tragic death of her father. Konatsu loved the storytelling of her father, and would really like to be a performer in her own right --but that course isn't designed for women.
