Frisky Dingo

For the Adult Swim network, Adam Reed and Matt Thompson created the animated series Frisky Dingo. Superhero and action movie clichés are the subject of much of the show's humor throughout the series, which centred around a supervillain named Killface and a superhero named Awesome X, a billionaire Xander Crews. Originally airing from October16, 2006 to January22,2007, the show returned on August26, 2007 for a second season that concluded on March23, 2008 after a hiatus of more than two years. When Adult Swim refused to renew their contract, pre-production on a third season had to be halted. The production company, 70/30 Productions, went bankrupt in January 2009. One episode was broadcast on November9, 2008 before the production firm went bankrupt, and the other two were aired before the show's cancellation.
