Clannad

Tomoya Okazaki is a dissatisfied third-year high school student. While his mother died in a vehicle accident when he was younger, his father turned to drink and cigarettes to cope. As a result, the two fight until Tomoya's shoulder is damaged. Tomoya has had a strained connection with his father ever then, leading him to become a delinquent over time. He encounters a weird girl named Nagisa Furukawa on his way to school, who is a year older than him but is repeating due to illness. She is frequently alone as a result of this, as most of her pals have gone on. Tomoya's life begins to change in a new direction as the two begin to hang out. Anime based on the popular visual novel game of the same name.
