Wadjda

Wadjda is a 10-year-old girl residing in a suburb of Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Even though she resides in a conservative globe, Wadjda is entertaining, entrepreneurial and pushing the bounds of everything she can get out with. After a fight with her friend Abdullah, a locality boy shouldn't be playing with, Wadjda sees a green bicycle for sale. The bicycle is wanted by her desperately so that she can beat Abdullah at a race. But the mum of Wadjda wont allow it, fearing repercussions in the society which sees bicycles detrimental to the significance of some girl. So Wadjda decides to attempt to improve herself...
