After her little son dies in an accident, a mother suffers a mental breakdown and is eventually sent to a mental health facility. Following the completion of her sentence, her husband brings her to spend the weekend at a remote country mansion in the hopes that it will assist her in making a full recovery. However, things in the estate aren't quite what they appear to be, the couple begins to feel an uneasy and oppressive presence, and the mother begins to experience things that may or may not be hallucinations.
