The Wonderful Country

Martin Brady, who fled the United States many years ago for the purpose of assassinating his father's murderer, travels to Texas to negotiate an arms sale for his Mexican boss, strongman Governor Cipriano Castro. Brady hurts his leg and the gun shipment is stolen while he is recuperating in Texas. Complicating matters further, the wife of the local army major Colton has developed feelings for him, and the local Texas Ranger captain extends him an open invitation to return to the United States and join his squad. Brady returns to the border after shooting a guy in self-defense and faces Castro, who is not only angry that Brady has lost his gun shipment, but is also about to join forces with Colton to fight the local marauding Apache Indians.
