With loving memories on the summer of the season, 1974 A thriving artist looks back. A talented but troubled aspiring artist befriends a brilliant elderly alcoholic painter who has turned his back. Both form what appears to be at first a connection. The little one would like to learn all of the secrets that the master has locked out in his head and heart. Time has not been kind to the master. His lifetime looks pointless to him fundamentally and until his interest rekindles in his work gives him the will to live. Together, they provide one another a gift that is priceless. The little one learns to observe that the world. And the master learns to observe life through the eyes of innocence. This story is centered on a real life experience.
