Best Defense

Wylie is an inefficient engineer. Landry is a Sergeant with an Armour specialty. They have never met, but their lives become intertwined when Landry is tasked with combating the tank Wylie designed. Wylie is awaiting the demise of his company when he meets another engineer who hands him a disk containing the blueprints for a technology that would rescue his employer. Moments later, the other engineer dies, leaving Wylie with the disk and credit for the design. Wylie discovers that he is no longer a hack, but the savior of his company, and that his life has changed forever.
