Amazing Grace and Chuck

After seeing a Minuteman missile on a school field trip, Chuck Murdock, a 12-year-old Montana child and the son of a military jet pilot, becomes frightened. He refuses to play baseball in protest of the existence of nuclear weapons, causing his Little League team to forfeit a game. A fictional Boston Celtics player, "Amazing Grace" Smith, played by NBA legend Alex English, joins the boy in his protest by retiring from professional basketball. This broadens its reach, encouraging more professional athletes to join the anti-nuclear weapons movement. The story comes to a conclusion when the President of the United States meets with Chuck in person, admiring his determination while also discussing the practical obstacles of disarmament. Meanwhile, nefarious forces are threatening the lives of Amazing Grace and his agent, Lynn.
