A Christmas Dream

Christmas has arrived. As a young girl and her parents enter the room, she discovers a plethora of toys beneath the Christmas tree. She immediately tosses her old doll aside and begins playing with her new dolls. That night, however, she has a dream. Is it a dream? (IMDb) The soundtrack for the Czech version was entirely instrumental, with no dialog or sound effects, and no Santa! When MGM released the film in American theaters, they replaced the charming score with an overwrought Hollywood concoction, inserted an American-style Santa Claus into the footage [...], and gave the doll a pip-squeaky voice.
