White Irish Drinkers
A maturing tale set in 1975 working-class Brooklyn, in which 2 teen bros dealing with their violent papa as well as their well-meaning but inefficient mommy are caught up in a life of minor crime. Older brother Danny creates a daring scheme to swipe sufficient cash for the two to escape, timed around the disorder of an upcoming Rolling Stones show. The sensitive more youthful sibling, Brian, inevitably has an option: stay dedicated to the sibling with whom he shares a powerful love-hate bond, or use his hidden talent as a musician as his very own ticket out of their dead-end presence.
