UFO Hunters
UFO Hunters is an American television show which premiered on January 30, 2008 on The History Channel, made by Motion Picture Production Inc., also ran for three seasons.
Jon Alon Walz has been responsible for selling the series to History Channel after a bidding war for the rights to this series broke out between Scifi Channel and History Channel and was the Executive Producer of this series.
The concept for the series was analyzed in an section of History Channel's 2006 UFO special entitled"deepsea UFOs", created by Motion Picture Production Incthat featured two of those final four cast members. "UFO Hunters" was not a spin-off out of the 2005 History Channel special together with the same title.
The tagline of this series is: Hoax or History?
The show should not be confused with a similarly themed and titled UFO Hunters, a special that debuted time and the exact day on the Sci-Fi Channel, also developed by the manufacturers of Ghost-hunters, but which only aired one episode.
In the usa, History Channel released the very first two seasons on DVD. Nevertheless, the arrangement has been only released in fullscreen instead of wide screen. In the UK, History Channel released the final and next season on DVD but the episodes were released in the erroneous airdate order.
