The series follows a reporter trying to balance a personal life that is messy using a career, Daisy Channing. Things start to go for Daisy when she witnesses a murder she believes is gangrelated, only to find himself drawn in an interconnected web of criminal and illicit activity that reaches in the corridors of corporate and political power. It's the kind of narrative that will destroy lives, including those of her family. Together with co worker Simon Olenski, her editor Mary Foster and lead homicide detective Kevin Lutz, Daisy finds scandalous that it may bring down the government.
