Love in Sadness

Love is losing its essence and becoming progressively more difficult to achieve. Will there still be love in this day and age that is wretched and desolate merely for the sake of the concept of love itself? Love in Sadness is a love story that portrays the mythical-like fate of love that is so sought that it ignores all limitations. The story is shown through the lens of a couple's relationship with each other. In it, love triumphs above what the rest of the world believes, despite the misery and pain that comes along with it, and continues to seek its destiny. In the drama, Ma Ri is a stunning young woman who marries into a wealthy family and appears to lead an ideal existence. In a cruel twist of fate, her husband, In Wook, who seems to have it all together on the outside, is actually a deranged obsessive who is also viciously abusive. When she is finally pushed to her breaking point, she seeks assistance from Jung Won, who is a trustworthy, bright, and attractive plastic surgeon. They eventually give in to their feelings for one another after he offers to assist her in evading her abusive spouse. But In Wook, who is completely driven by his desire for her, isn't going to let her get away from him once he gets a hold of her. Watch as these two people fight to keep moving forward on the difficult path that leads to love.
