Fame

Fame is an American television set produced between 1982 and 1987. The show is on the basis of the 1980 film of the exact name. Utilizing a Combination of songs and drama, it followed the lifestyles of the students and faculty for the Performing Arts. Although fictional, it had been based greatly on the True Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in the Big Apple. Most scenes were filmed in Hollywood, California. In all seasons except that the 3rd, the show filmed several exterior scenes on location. The series' prevalence, especially in the UK, live concert tours by the cast and led to many hit recordings. Despite the success, high-profile careers were asserted by very few of these celebrities after the show was cancelled. A range of these cast members were seen again briefly in Bring Back. . .Fame, a reunion special-made for UK television in 2008.
