BattleBots

BattleBots is an American business that hosts robot competitions. BattleBots is the name of this tv series created from the competition footage. BattleBots Inc. is headquartered in Vallejo, California and holds all its competitions from the San Francisco area. That the competitors are machines and remote-controlled armed, made to fight in an arena combat elimination tournament. If both combat robots continue to be functional at the end of the game the winner is based on a point system based on also strategy, aggression, and damage. The tv series BattleBots aired for five seasons in the cable network Comedy Central, covering five BattleBots tournaments. The first season aired starting in August 2000, and the fifth season aired starting in August 2002. Hosts of BattleBots have been Sean Salisbury and Bil Dwyer and correspondents comprised Baywatch actresses Traci Bingham, Carmen Electra, along with Donna D'Errico, former Playboy Playmate Heidi Mark, and identical twins Randy and Jason Sklar. Bill Nye has been the series's"technical expert". After five'seasons', Comedy Central terminated their contract with BattleBots Inc. in late 2002.
