Time of Eve: The Movie

In the not-too-distant future, androids will be widely used. Rikuo Sakisaka, who has lived his entire life taking robots for granted, discovers one day that Sammy, his home android, has been acting independently and coming and going on her own. He discovers a strange phrase in her activity log: "Are you enjoying the Time of Eve?" He and his friend Masakazu Masaki track Sammy's movements and come across an unusual cafe called "The Time of Eve." Nagi, the barista, informs them that the cafe's main rule is that humans and androids are treated equally. Within the cafe, androids do not display their status rings, and when customers leave, the door automatically locks for two minutes to prevent anyone from following them and discovering their true nature.
