Pacific Rim
When legions of animals, known as Kaiju, started rising from the ocean, a warfare began absorb the funds of humanity for a long time on end and that would take a huge number of lives. A special type of weapon has been invented robots, called Jaegers, which can be controlled by two pilots whose minds are secured in a bridge to combat the giant Kaiju. However, even the Jaegers are currently demonstrating defenseless in the face of the Kaiju. On the brink of defeat, the forces protecting mankind have no option but to show into two unlikely heroes--a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)--who are teamed to induce a mythical but apparently obsolete Jaeger from the past. They stand as the last hope against the mounting apocalypse of mankind.
