Empire of Passion

A young man has an older woman. He is jealous of her husband and intends to murder him. They strangle the spouse and throw his body down a well one night after he drank a lot of sake. To avoid suspicion, she says her spouse is working in Tokyo. A covert love affair lasts three years. Finally, suspicions grow and people start speculating. Worse, her husband's spirit haunts her, and the cops arrive to investigate his disappearance.
