Dive!!

A typical junior high student is Tomoki Sakai (Kento Hayashi), who is played by Ken. It was Yoichi Fujitani (Sosuke Ikemaysu) who made Tomoki want to join the Mizuki Diving Club (MDC), where Yoichi practices. He was born into a family of Olympic divers, so he has a lot of skill at diving. However, the club is in the red, and its very survival is in question at this point. A new coach, Kayoko Asaki (Asaka Seto), has just come back from the US. She wants to save MDC, so she joins the club as a new coach. Her goal is for the club to make an athlete who can compete in the Olympic Games. Her friend Shibuki Okitsu (Junpei Mizobata), a skilled diver with a wild streak from Tsugaru, joins in to help with the fight. Kayoko, on the other hand, learns that Tomoki has a special ability called "diamond eyes." This inspires him to start training very hard. To get what they want, Tomoki, Yoichi, and Shibuki have to deal with their own problems and deal with conflicts and setbacks in the sport.
