Alice in the Cities

When trying to write an article about the United States, journalist Philip cold temperatures is a case of writer's block. He makes the decision to come back to Germany, and while trying to book a trip, encounters her nine year old daughter Alice and a woman doing the same. The three become friends (almost out of necessity) and while the mum asks cold temperatures to obey Alice temporarily, it immediately becomes apparent that Alice will undoubtedly be his responsibility for more than he ever expected. After returning to Europe, the naive friendship between cold temperatures and Alice climbs as they travel together through many different European cities to a quest for Alice's grandma.
