A Dangerous Game

Director Anthony Baxter follows American tycoon Donald Trump and a cast of other greedy individuals who want to turn some of the Earth's most sacred sites into golf courses and playgrounds for the ultra affluent in this sequel to the award-winning You've Been Trumped. To obtain their latest trophy, these tycoons harass local populations, manipulate governments, reject local referendums, and even meddle in national environmental policies, from the historic site of Dubrovnik to the ancient sand dunes and rolling green hills of the seaside hamlet of Balmedie. We learn how damaging these golf courses can be to the surrounding countryside and water tables thanks to in-depth interviews and Baxter's great narration. The townspeople don't give in easily in this humorous, inspiring, and at times devastating David and Goliath narrative for the twenty-first century. Will their efforts, however, be sufficient to safeguard their land and way of life?
